Great pizza, strong Jalapeno Margarita, cute kids play area family friendly, friendly accommodating staff. We had such a great time here I stopped in with another mom after our 4 yr olds had a play date. The pizza was soo good. We ordered lemonades for the kids and without question the staff offered to split one in half for the kids and add water. Then they told us about the play area in the back we didn’t see. There were other kids playing our kids stayed for another hour busy pmaking pretend pizzas in the cute little are. It was secure, far away from exits so we were able to relax and enjoy our margaritas in peace without having to hover over the kids. My margarita almost knocked me out my seat after just one, was literally perfect. So happy to have this place and the market overall in the neighborhood. I saw people working on laptops while their kids played. I will definitely be back for pizza takeout and on those random school closure days where I need to get stuff done while entertaining my kid, and finish with a margarita.

Best pizza slices in the entire Bay Area! I was referred to this place by numerous people so I had to give it a try… had an excursion with my son and we wanted to grab something quick so we stopped here for a slice of Za. First off, the store is very casual with abundant seating and second, the staff is very friendly and quick. As for the slices, they were fantastic! The pizza dough is firm with a slight crisp to it and the toppings are all organic and top notch quality. I ordered a cheese slice for my kid and a couple Sweet Little Piggy’s for myself. The candied bacon is a fantastic touch on the sweet piggy. Highly recommend this spot!

I saw the sign as I was walking by coming back from a job that said that it's $12 for two slices of pizza and fresh lemonade. I thought man with prices these days that's a great deal. So I went inside and I got the pizza and it was hot fresh and delicious with house Maid lemonade not from concentrate. I was absolutely pleased with my pizza and the service I got as well as the facility was a little bit authentic like an old family from Italy cooking pizza right out of the kitchen. If I'm in the area again I will definitely swing by this place is a must-have for Pizza Lovers of all ages

Absolutely swinging for the fences, this small pizzeria, in Oakland's cemetery-adjacent Piedmont neighborhood, is now my new favorite Oakland Pizza. With a slice, perfectly calibrating flat dough crunch, with a chewy delicious after effect, sauce that is perfectly acidic and just a tad naturally sweet, and with high temperature cheese melted perfectly in an actual pizza oven, (you'd be surprised at a lot of places don't really have a new york-style pizza oven, it's a thing) these slices are 10 out of 10 for flavor, texture, and presentation. Cannot speak highly enough of this local Pizzeria. Querying Jonathan, the Pizza Chef, (as I am known to do) it was revealed to me that the dough is allowed to preferment, and is a mix of doughs, perfectly combining the flavor profile of sourdough, with that with a more neutral dough, like a New York slice. Great pizza, great people, great atmosphere, this tiny place represents what to do right about pizza.
